The key to SAGMA’s success is in its membership. Through its membership SAGMA is able to be viewed as a legitimate voice of the pharmaceutical industry in the SADC region; to reach some financial sustainability; harness expertise that will contribute towards informed advocacy strategies. It is also through this expertise that SAGMA will be able to offer some of the services and benefits to its members, e.g. legal, technical and regulatory advice.
Through the Annual General Meeting, members are afforded the opportunity to engage and decide on key strategic issues.
