Supporting National Associations
National association are country based membership networks that represent collective interests of members in a country. The difference between the national associations and SAGMA is in their focus: SAGMA focuses on regional interests versus national associations that focus on country interests.
SAGMA recognises that strong national associations are an important contributor towards the development of a viable pharmaceutical industry in the region.
SAGMA is committed to supporting countries that are looking at setting up national associations in their countries and strengthening those already in place through the sharing of information and best practices. Through the membership section, national associations are also able to share opportunities and challenges impacting on the industry in their respective countries.
Currently there a number of national association that are members of SAGMA:
|Botswana||Pharmaceutical Society of Botswana
|South Africa||National Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers
|Zambia||Zambian Business Forum|
|Zimbabwe||Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association|
